The stronghold of addiction is often associated with the worship of a substance or habit.
· The object of our chief focus
Freedom is only found when we rehearse the strength of our God than that of what holds us back. The most monumental leap we take toward freedom is the leap to our knees (2nd Corinthians5:17)
Freedom- That is the key word freedom to live without, for the sake of; A choice to sacrifice that which we hold & consider dear for the sake of. Look only to the God of all possibilities (Every Other Alternative Savior takes an Early Retirement).
It is in our human nature to rely on or expect others to be able to assist but until the addictee is ready to stop, No amount of assistance will be of help. It has to come from you first. You must want to stop, admit that it is more of a prison to rely and depend on something material to survive. You have to stop idolizing for the temporary high because eventually, it will leave you and those around you permanently damaged.
Anything you have to do while hidden will negatively reflect on you when in public. Hold your sweating head over the fountain and Tap in to God’s life with unquenchable thirst.”
(Psalms 31:17-19)
Only you can help you stop. Desire the future, & freedom will bring you closure.
PRAY:
“My Father you are my Lord I have made you part of my life instead of making you, “My Life”. Look! You made a path through the mighty waters, what is my addiction compared to that? Enable me to say with assurance that there is no other Rock but You, You have promised that your plans are to Prosper and not to Harm, Plans to give me a hope and a future.
This behavior I have adopted will in no way bring prosperity but harm, to my Body, My Child and everyone around me. If I continue practicing it then how will I experience a hope and future in You? How ill I live in the freedom you desire for me?
In psalms 145:16 your word says that You open Your hand to me….” Lord Satisfy the urge and fill it with so much of you that I have no room left for any other God, for you my Lord are Jealous.( Exodus 20:4)
Oh! Father I thank you that my Help comes from you, the maker of Heaven and Earth (Psalms121:2)
AMEN!"
